10-Year-Old Girl Drummer Wins ‘Denmark’s Got Talent’ Covering Led Zeppelin And Rage Against the Machine

From what I can remember, the age of 10 for me consisted of a ton of video games, summer camp, not really focusing on anything at all.  There’s no way I was serious about anything in my life nor do I think I should have been.  But there are plenty of 10-year-olds out there who are savants in a particular area.  It might be a sport.  It might be an instrument.  Whatever it is, these kids pick up a skill at a super young age and become highly proficient at it very quickly.

In most cases they achieve a professional level of ability.  That what we see here with Johanne Astrid.  She’s a 10-year-old drummer with uncanny ability.  She showcased her skills to win the 2017 Denmark version of “America’s Got Talent.”   In order to win she covered two legendary bands.  The first was Led Zeppelin and the second was Rage Against the Machine.

“I hope I will get to play a lot of other places or get in a real band,” Johanne said. “I have not really thought about it, but I just know I have to play drums when I grow up.”  Well, I don’t think you’ll have any issues doing that Johanne.  Keep rockin’
