General Hospital spoilers indicate we know very little about the actual paternity of Jake Webber. It turns out he’s got some ideas that Jason might not be his father. We know that Liz has a thing about having babies with as many men as she can, which is just astounding to us. But we also know that she makes sure her kids get to spend as much time as they can with their fathers. Jake spends ample time with his dad, Jason, and his stepmom Sam. They work hard to keep him involved in their own life, and it’s all worked out quite well to this point. Except now we wonder if it really has. We know that many years ago Liz had a paternity test done regarding Jake’s father. She read the results, tore up the test results, and then burned it all. No one knew the answer, but it was assumed it was Jason.
Now we wonder if it really was Jason. Could Jake be correct that his father is not Jason? Is there a chance he knew the results of that test, or that he overheard his mother talking in her sleep or something of that nature? We don’t know. We just don’t know, but there is some reason to believe it might be true. She never told anyone the results. She never let on it’s not Jason, and she’s always let her son have a life with his father. But now that the boy knows, is there a chance it’s not him? Is there a chance Jake knows something he should not know? Or is he just spilling secrets he’s got in his confused mind thanks to his crazy grandmother’s brain washing and books she left him? There’s a good chance this might turn into more of a storyline than ever before, and we aren’t sure we can handle what might happen next. Could there be a twist we don’t see coming, or will we find out that Jason is the father of this boy and he’s just lying for attention? We have our thoughts.
