Three Ways to Stream Selection Sunday

This Sunday, the March Madness festivities begin as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Committee unveils the 2017 bracket. While not quite as exciting as the actual games themselves, millions of people will tune in to prepare themselves for next week’s action. And with teams like Duke and UNC set to tear things up, that action can’t come soon enough.

While there are a gazillion ways to stream the March Madness tournament, there are only a few for Sunday’s festivities. Here’s a quick rundown of the three ways to watch.

1. Watch on NCAA.com

If you don’t mind watching from your computer, the easiest (and cheapest way) to watch Selection Sunday is on NCAA.com. Simply visit the site, and the live video feed will load in your browser. The stream will ramp up at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.

Want the NCAA.com stream on your TV? You could accomplish this by connecting your computer to your TV using an  HDMI cable. A wireless mouse would make the experience a bit better, as you could control the stream from your couch, rather than having to get up and use the mouse on your keyboard.

2. Stream Via CBS All Access

If you’re looking to stream to your TV using your Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or similar device, then you’ll want to look at CBS All Access. The service is available starting at $5.99 per month, and includes a live stream of your local CBS affiliate in the majority of markets across the US.

Want to watch for free? CBS All Access offers a free 7-day trial, which means you can sign up to watch Selection Sunday for free and cancel if you so choose.

3. Many Can Watch with PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue is a streaming service that offers a full cable TV replacement. For $29.99, you can stream dozens of channels that normally would require a cable contract. For those looking to watch a Selection Sunday live stream, it’s worth noting that PS Vue has local CBS feeds in about 80 markets now. You can view the current list of PS Vue local CBS affiliates here.

It’s also worth mentioning that PS Vue has a cloud DVR. So if you have to miss Selection Sunday and need to catch up later, you can watch it after the fact.

There you have it, 3 ways anyone can watch, with or without cable. Get ready for the action!
