There’s an artist on Deviant Art who I consider to be the number one Pokemon artist in existence. He goes by the handle Arvalis. He’s been on the site for over 10 years and his works have been seen close to 7 million times. What’s interesting about his Pokemon work is that he doesn’t focus on your typical Pokemon. Arvalis constructs new Pokemon creatures from scratch. He gives them a completely realistic look as well as full statistics on each one as if they each have their own Pokemon card.
I honestly haven’t seem anything like it out there. And he keeps pumping these things out. I believe he’s done over 500 of them. Obviously that makes it tough to cipher through each of them to pick out only 10. Still though, you can browse his gallery and check out all of his work. It’s truly phenomenal.
