Days of Our Lives is beginning the week with some serious romance in the air, which is only appropriate given the nature of this week’s special holiday. Steve and Kayla cannot wait any longer. Who cares if Stefano has disappeared from prison after they worked so hard and so long in Prague to catch him? They certainly don’t. Hope’s name is cleared, she’s not a murderer, and they’re going to get married on the most romantic day of the year. It doesn’t matter that they’ve been married before, divorced, with other people, and all over the place. They’re happy together, and they are certain this is it for them. No more waiting, and no more time spent with others.
Joseph Mascolo is the man who portrays Stefano, and he sadly lost his life in December. It’s been a sad moment for the show, and he will not return as Stefano after he escapes from prison and is able to get away from his captors. While we all know Mascolo won’t be back to portray the devious Stefano, we have reason to believe that the character might remain open with his escape. So he’s gone for good, but only for now. We wouldn’t be shocked if someone else comes back to portray Stefano with a new face, a new identity, and some new tricks up his sleeve.
Nicole and Brady are doing everything in their power to get Chloe to give back the baby that belongs to Nicole, but she’s having none of it. Unfortunately, these two are going to have their work cut out for them as they try to figure out what they can do to stop Chloe the kind-of kidnapper. As they spend more and more time together, we assume they’ll end up falling more and more for one another. It’s not certain Deimos is out of the picture just yet, but we suspect she’s not going to take him back for good if she takes him back at all. We have a feeling Brady and Nicole, Steve and Kayla, and Sonny and Paul are in for one sweet week.
