Margot Robbie stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote her new film, The Legend of Tarzan, which also stars True Blood alum Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd and hits theaters this Friday. And while Robbie spent some of her time on Kimmel discussing that other big movie she has coming out this summer, DC’s Suicide Squad, which debuts on August 5, she and Kimmel used the majority of the interview to talk about her plans for her 26th birthday on Saturday and what she’s done to celebrate her birthdays in the past. Although Robbie shared a few stories about her past couple of birthdays, the one that stood out to Kimmel and the audience was the 24-hour party that she and her friends had for her 24th birthday.
So what exactly does a 24-hour party entail? An all-out extravaganza of drinking, burger eating, karaoke singing, and costume changing that began at 9 a.m. on her birthday and continued until 9 a.m. the next day. Robbie and everyone she invited hit up various locations throughout London from Five Guys to an Under the Sea-themed restaurant to “progressively filthier and filthier bars.”
“Do you consider those people who made it to the finish line like your best friends?” Kimmel asked her.
“My closest friends in the world,” she said. “Those last 12 people.”
