Felicity Smoak and Brie Larvan may have first battled each other last year on The Flash, but the conflict between them looks more intense than ever in tonight’s episode of Arrow. Good thing Felicity has some back-up in the form of Thea and her mom, right?
In tonight’s all-new hour, titled “Beacon of Hope,” Felicity refocuses her attention on Palmer Tech after leaving Team Arrow at the end of last week’s episode. She’s spending all of her time at the company, working alongside Curtis and trying to make it the best possible company that it can be.
However, Felicity gets thrown back into the crime-fighting world after Larvan, aka Bug-Eyed Bandit, threatens to kill everyone at Palmer Tech unless she gets the chip in Felicity’s spine, the chip that is allowing her to walk. It’s up to Arrow‘s best hacker, along with Thea and Donna, to find a way to stop Larvan before she harms anyone.
Additionally, Thea’s got a solo mission of her own in “Beacon of Hope”: bring Felicity back to the team. Will she be successful? We’ll have to wait and see, but since Felicity’s pretty darn good at helping to save lives (including her own), I’m guessing she’ll be reunited with Team Arrow sooner rather than later.
Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW. Check out the sneak peek from “Beacon of Hope” below:
BRIE LARVAN AKA THE BUG-EYED BANDIT SETS HER SIGHTS ON FELICITY — Brie Larvan (guest star Emily Kinney) breaks out of jail and turns up at Palmer Tech threatening to kill everyone unless she gets the bio-chip that is implanted in Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) spine. When Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes that Felicity, Thea (Willa Holland) and Donna (guest star Charlotte Ross) are trapped in Palmer Tech with everyone else, he looks to a surprising ally to help Team Arrow save the day. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.
