It’s not an easy job when you realize you are just like your parents and that your entire life that you worked so hard to create is one that will not last for you no matter how hard you try. On Friday’s Young and the Restless, we will see just how much more that plays out than it has all week long. Adam and Luca are in the middle of a battle that might hurt them both more than they think. Is there a chance that while Luca is holding all the cards in his hand that he might fall from the top and take Adam with him? Are these young men feeling the power and control that their fathers so regularly feel, and it is making them turn into their fathers? Neither of them wants to be like their dear old dads but they both seem to be acting more like them than ever before. With the absence of their fathers at the moment, though, it seems that there might be more to this deal that we see.
We will see these two battle it out with Luca calling the shots and Adam working hard to protect Noah on Friday, but we think that it might not come as a surprise to see either of their fathers turn it all around and take everyone down. Additionally, Noah has said he will turn himself into the police for hitting Billy with his car because he does not want to ruin Adam and his grandfather’s deal to take the Santoris down. Will he do it? Will he need more time to think about it, or will he go to Marisa for one last time and see if they can be together before he takes the ultimate responsibility for his action and goes to the police. Additionally, we also know that Billy is remembering more and more of what is happening, so we also wonder if there is a chance that he will remember what happened with Billy long before Billy even makes it to the police. There is a chance that Adam is actually protecting him for nothing and should have let him go down for the crime so that the greater good was also dealt with.
The worst part for both families, however, is that Luca and Adam have both caused their wives to become involved, and that never works out for the best. Now that Marisa and Chelsea have a basic idea of what is going on, they are now angry with one another. They both want to ask the other to do things that she might not be comfortable with, yet neither of them is entirely sure she wants to forgo her husband and upset or hurt him anymore than they already have. On Friday we will see Marisa yell at Chelsea asking her to please tell her if Adam is involved in what is going on. We will then see Chelsea yell back that she can’t. Both women seem genuinely conflicted about this, but there is little that they can do.
Additionally, we have to see something happen with Nick and Sage. She’s locked up and Nick seems to want to confess to Sharon. Is it because their daughter wants to live with her and he wants her to know that what she thinks is happening is not really happening? We see that on Friday he will tell Sharon he cannot keep her in the dark longer and that he will confess something to her. Will he tell her the truth, or will he work to keep her in the plan someway because he needs something from her and only she can do it? It’s not something that we have the answer to, but we do suspect that he might just be using her to make matters worse for Dr. Anderson since Sharon does seem to think that Dr. Anderson has all the answers. What this might mean for this little family could be a major divide, especially when Sharon finds out that Nick is only using her to get what he wants. And she will find out; they always find out when they are being used and abused.
