The Five Most Eligible Bachelorettes of The Walking Dead

We did the guys a week or so ago, and now it’s time to turn our attention toward the ladies of The Walking Dead. Dating in the apocalypse is tough, and marriage is borderline impossible, but our core group of survivors has some fantastic women in it all the same. Everyone has their pros and cons, so much like the guys, we’ll go through all their little quirks. Which of them have long term potential? Which should you probably stay away from? We’ll aim to find out below. Naturally, all the ladies on the show couldn’t fit, and I’m only declaring Maggie as permanently “off the market” due to her involvement with Glenn. Other pairings like Bob and Sasha and Abraham and Rosita aren’t exactly set in stone yet. Here we go. Spoilers follow.

Carol

Likes: growing her hair out as slowly as humanly possible, knives, MacGyver-ing her way to save the day, complete and total character transformations, bad boys in biker jackets

Dislikes: being called “the Andrea that should have been,” teenage girls, infection, Rick thinking he’s all that and a bag of chips, season-long searches for already dead children

Marriage potential: 6/10 – Carol is becoming more and more of a lone wolf these days, ever since Rick excommunicated her. Don’t think she’s really down to settle down with anyone. Unless it’s Daryl.

Michonne

Likes: samurai swords, scowling, recently smiling, Tyreese even though she won’t admit it, pretending to be a mom again with Carl, justice

Dislikes: being called “that chick with the sword” by literally everyone, losing her sword and having to replace it with some weird bowstaff thing, other people who can’t handle themselves

Marriage potential: 7/10 – Old Michonne probably would have been a 0/10, but considering the friendliness makeover she’s undergone the past season or so, Michonne may be able to find the right guy sometime soon, so long as it isn’t Carl. Don’t even think about it, showrunners.

Beth

Likes: soothing walkers with the power of music, moonshine, being unclear about her relationship with older men (father figure? brother figure? crush?)

Dislikes: being kidnapped and completely missing from the show, drunk Daryl, the fact that there aren’t more times to sing during the apocalypse, Carl. Poor Carl.

Marriage potential: 0/10 – considering I’m pretty sure she’s supposed to be like 15 on the show. But her actress is pretty close to 30, which complicates things. If she was actually 30? 10/10. Home cooked meals and a great voice and those “save the world” eyes.

Rosita

rosita

Likes: being “the hot one,” even though Maggie is still the hot one, pigtails, having a latina Lara Croft vibe, following Abraham to the ends of the earth for reasons unknown

Dislikes: Having one or less lines per episode, having literally no backstory whatsoever, not having her walker kills spotlighted, Eugene because he has to smell terrible

Marriage potential: 5/10 – as I think you’d have to take on Abraham in a wrestling match for her hand, and no one wants to do that.

Tara

tara

Likes: girls (allegedly), Glenn (mmmhm), fist bumps, talking a big game, making puppy dog eyes, being part of a non-insane group

Dislikes: being turned into GIFs whenever 1/8th of her chest is shown onscreen, guys with eyepatches, short-term relationships with girls who get killed almost immediately, being confused with that one girl from The Big Bang Theory

Marriage potential: 9/10 –  Honestly, Tara is one of the sweetest girls here, though you may have to be a girl to qualify. Though with how she makes eyes at Glenn, I’m not so sure.

Those are the top five I can see, how do you think they match up with the guys?
