Halloween is fast approaching, and if you haven’t given any thought to your costume yet, you’re doing it wrong. There are many, many TV shows that you can look to for inspiration when it comes to Halloween costumes this year, but I wanted to focus on a specific subset: Animated shows. It can be tough to translate animated characters into real life costumes, but when you do the effect is fantastic, and these are some of my favorite TV-related costumes. I’ve hunted down 20 of my favorite animated shows from over the years and come up with a pretty solid gallery that should provide you some inspiration for your own costume search.
