The Golden Globe Awards have been quite an entertaining show to watch the last two years. This is largely in part to co-hosts and real life BFF’s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Lucky for fans, the two comediennes will be back to host the awards show in January 2015. But what television actors have the most Golden Globes? Take a look at these 15 actors, all of whom possess two or more Globes. Please note that there are many actors who have claimed two Globes including: Bill Cosby, John Lithgow, Valerie Bertinelli, Hugh Laurie, Candice Bergen, Jean Stapleton, and Henry Winkler. They are not included in this list, but deserve recognition.

2014 National Board Of Review Awards Gala - Outside Arrivals

Edie Falco has received numerous nominations and accolades for her current role of Jackie  on Nurse Jackie as well as playing matriarch Carmela Soprano on the drama The Sopranos. Falco would take home two Golden Globe Awards for her performance on the HBO Show. She would win in 2000 and 2003. Between 2000-2014, Falco received a total of ten nominations. Falco has currently finished starring in season six of Nurse Jackie, with season seven set to premiere in early 2015. Plus, Falco recently starred in the movie Gods Behaving Badly, also starring Sharon Stone.

Oklahoma City Thunder v New York Knicks

The X-Files was a popular hit show for FOX way before American Idol was around. The sci-fi thriller helped stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson both earn Golden Globes. Duchovny was nominated four times for playing the part of Fox Mulder. He took home the prize in 1997. Years later, Duchovny would once again score a Golden Globe win. This time it would be for his performance as Hank Moody in Californication. He would win in 2008 and be nominated three other times. Season 7 of the show just wrapped in late June.

LOL With LLS: Jokes on You, Cancer!

It is no denying that Tina Fey is one of the Queens of Comedy.  After her stint on Saturday Night Live where she served as head writer and Weekend Update co-anchor, Fey created and starred in her own television show.  The comedy was called 30 Rock and Fey earned two Golden Globe Awards in 2008 and 2009 for her performance as Liz Lemon. Fey would receive four more Golden Globe nominations for her work on the show from 2010-2013. Fey is currently at work on her new sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt starring Ellie Kemper and Jane Krakowski.

ELLE's 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration - Show

Cybill Shepherd received her first Golden Globe nomination in 1972 for Most Promising Newcomer in the movie The Last Picture Show. She would receive back to back wins in 1986 and 1987 portraying Maddie Hayes in Moonlighting. She would share the award with Estelle Getty from The Golden Girls in 1987. Shepherd would garner a nomination for the role one final time in 1988. Shepherd received her third and final Golden Globe in 1996. The Globe was for her performance in the comedy Cybill. The show ran for four seasons and also starred The Good Wife‘s Christine Baranski.

Ted Danson received his first of three Golden Globes in 1985 for his work  in the drama Something About Amelia, which also starred Glenn Close. He was also nominated that year for his portrayal of Sam Malone on Cheers. Danson would win in 1990 and 1991 for his work on the comedy. After Cheers, Danson received two additional Golden Globe nominations. One was for his performance in the comedy Becker in 2001. The other nomination came in 2008 for his supporting role in the drama Damages, another work starring Close.

18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Show

Mary Tyler Moore’s career began in 1952 when she guest starred on an episode of The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. Thirteen years later, Moore would earn her first Golden Globe Award nomination and win for her portrayal of Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Moore would be nominated for each season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, but would only take home a win in 1971. Moore would get her third and final Golden Globe award in 1981 for the film Ordinary People, which also starred Donald Sutherland and Judd Hirsch.

Alec Baldwin received his very first Golden Globe nomination in 1996 for his work in the min-series A Streetcar Named Desire. Five years later, Bladwin would obtain another nomination for his performance in the mini-series Nuremberg and another in 2003 for the television movie Path to War. Baldwin would win his three Golden Globe awards for playing Jack Donaghy on the NBC comedy 30 Rock. Baldwin was nominated for all seven seasons of the series and would win in 2007, 2009, and 2010. Baldwin is set to star in Mission: Impossible 5 in 2015.

Kelsey Grammer has won three Golden Globe Awards so far during his career. His first nomination came in 1994 for portraying the title character Dr. Frasier Crane in the NBC comedy Frasier. Grammer would get his first win two years later in 1996. He would win once again in 2001. Grammer was nominated a total of eight times for Frasier. He would earn his third Globe for working on the television show Boss in 2012. The show would only survive two seasons before getting the axe from Starz. Grammer was most recently seen in Transformers Age of Extinction.

Claire Danes won her very first Golden Globe in 1995 for portraying Angela Chase on the drama My So Called Life. Though the show only survived one season, it was the first step in bright future for the actress. In 2012 and 2013, Danes would received Golden Globes for her performance as Carrie Mathison on the drama Homeland. Danes has another Golden Globe for her work in the TV Movie Temple Grandin, in which she played the title character. Danes has won a Globe every time she been nominated. Season 4 of Homeland will premiere in October.

Michael J. Fox spent seven seasons playing staunch Republican Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties. He would win a Golden Globe in 1988 for his work. He would then play the role of Mike Flaherty on the comedy Spin City. Fox would earn three Golden Globes for his work on the show. Fox would leave the show after four seasons and would be replaced by Charlie Sheen. Sheen would go on to also win a Golden Globe for his performance as Charlie Crawford.  Fox was most recently seen on the cancelled Michael J. Fox Show and The Good Wife. He is expected to return for the sixth season.

2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards - Show

Helen Hunt would be nominated five times for her performance as Jamie Buchman on the NBC comedy Mad About You. She would garner a win in 1994, 1995, and 1997.  Her co-star Paul Reiser would receive four Golden Globe nominations from 1995-1998, but would never win a Globe.  Hunt’s fourth and final Globe win to date would come from her work in the movie As Good as It Gets in 1998It would be fifteen years before Hunt would receive another Globe nomination. It would come from her performance in the 2012 movie The Sessions.

Sarah Jessica Parker spent six seasons from 1998 to 2004 playing Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO comedy Sex and the City. Parker would reprise that role in the movies in 2008 and 2010.  Since season six of the show was in two parts, Parker was able to receive 7 nominations for her work.  She would take home the Globe in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004.  In 2006, Parker was nominated in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical for her portrayal of Meredith Morton in The Family Stone.

The Annual Make-Up Artists And Hair Stylists Guild Awards - Show

During his seven decade career, Ed Asner received eleven Golden Globe Award nominations. He would receive a nomination every year from 1972 to 1982.  He was able to win five times. Asner’s first win came in 1972 for his role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. His next win would not come until 1976. That year he would share the Globe win with Tim Conway, who won for his performance on The Carol Burnett Show. Asner would receive his next win in 1977 for his work in the mini-series Rich Man, Poor Man. Asner received wins four and five from starring in the Mary Tyler Moore spin-off Lou Grant.

Carol Burnett has a career that has spanned over 7 decades with her first television appearance being on The Paul Winchell Show in 1955.  Burnett was able to nab a total of five Golden Globes, all of which were earned for her work on the variety show The Carol Burnett Show. Burnett was nominated in 1968 and every year between 1970 and 1979.  She won a Globe in 1968, 1970, 1972, 1977, and 1978.  Burnett would also garner nominations for her work in Pete ‘n’ Tillie, A Wedding, The Four Seasons, Life of the Party: The Story of Beatrice, Annie, and Carol & Company.

Alan Alda tops the list for receiving the most Golden Globe awards with six. Alda spent eleven years playing Captain Benjamin Franklin Pierce on the comedy M*A*SH*. He received eleven nominations for the role and walked away with six wins in 1975, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983. Alda received his first Golden Globe nomination in 1969 for Most Promising Newcomer for his work in the sports comedy Paper Lion. He was nominated again in 1979 for his work in the movie Same Time, Next Year and in 1982 for Best Screenplay and Best Motion Picture Actor for the film The Four Seasons.
