While they’re not quite as old-school as New Kids on the Block, I definitely put Backstreet Boys in the same bucket. They’re a formerly obscenely successful boy band that has had a complete resurgence in today’s era because there’s still demand, and nostalgia among people in their 30s and 40s runs very hot. As such these guys are completely booked all over again selling out arenas all over the country as well as doing regular performances in Vegas.
As part of the introduction to their shows the Backstreet Boys play a montage of some of their greatest hits. It gets the crowd warmed up. Made by DJ Earworm, here’s what he had to say about it: “The Backstreet Boys folks had me create this Custom Mashup Megamix composed of many BSB hits. It plays before each of their “Larger Than Life” concerts happening now at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.”
