Young and the Restless fans know Victor and Nikki have a long history of pattern. They have been doing the same things, saying the same things, and making the same mistakes with one another for many years. They’ve been in a situation where they’ve hated one another, loved one another, and been back and forth about one another more than once, and this is one of those situations. They are doing a good job right now of falling very hard into their old patterns and making their same mistakes.
It’s not good news for anyone, of course, but it certainly is what it is. They have a pattern, and those are the kinds of habits that die hard when you’re of a certain age. And we know that there is nothing they can do about that since they can’t and won’t change their minds about one another. They won’t make an effort to meet in the middle, which means they will have bigger problems to deal with.
And that’s something they can’t handle. They might find things are working for them right now, but we can see their old patterns falling right into place time and time again. They have some serious issues with which to contend and we can’t figure out what is going on with them. They have to figure out how to make things work if they want their partnership to last. They have to figure out how to work this out and make it happen soon.
