Young and the Restless fans will see that Lily has decided to stand by her man despite the fact that so many of her own friends and family are worried that Cane did do this and that he lied to her about the entire thing. She’s going to confront Hilary, and it won’t go well. She doesn’t want her to go on the air and talk about the case or what happened that night, and Hilary is going to tell her to get lost and stay out of it.
Lily won’t like to hear this. She wants Hilary to stop this right now before she drags their family name through the mud even more, but Hil is not likely to do anything that will derail her own career and cause her to have anything she doesn’t want in her life. She’s got a plan, and she’s going through with it. Lily doesn’t scare her, especially since she actually does know what happed that night at the hotel overseas.
What Lily doesn’t know is that Juliet has provided her with a tape that has Cane confessing to what happened that night, except this time it’s not sexual harassment. It’s all consensual, and she’s not afraid to use it. It might not go down as harassment if she decides to use it, but Cane’s name and reputation will be ruined if it gets out. She doesn’t care about Juliet being called a liar or being in trouble with the law, and she doesn’t care about any of this. She just wants what she wants.
