Young and the Restless fans were never fully on board with the little affair Jack has been having with Gloria. She’s not a particularly likeable personality, and it seems this relationship has been doomed since day one. But what really surprises us is how much Gloria seemed to think this might work. She seems to have a feeling in her mind that things with them are good, and that she is going to keep this going for a while. She’s not really anyone important, and Jack is. Much to her delight, everyone now knows they are seeing one another.
Except, Jack doesn’t seem nearly as interested in Gloria now that everyone knows about them. He seemed to be much more into her when they had to sneak around and cover things up. Now that everyone seems to in the know about their no longer clandestine affair, he seems a little bit over it. Will they find a way to make it work, or will Jack find a way to get her out of his office and out of his life?
Gloria is not about to go down like that, though. She’s a hardcore personality, and she’s got it in for Ashley. She has no intention of giving up her place on Jack’s arm when it’s been giving her so much power and so much access to information she wants and needs. We suspect she will go to extreme measures to ensure this relationship continues as long as possible. She might just go out of her way to make sure Jack sees her in a different light now. She’s not quite young enough to fake a pregnancy or get pregnant on purpose, so that’s probably out. But she’s a smart woman with an arsenal of tricks of up sleeve that might allow her to take a different route when she chooses to go about her business. She’s not letting Jack go, and he might want to sit back and consider that for a few moments. Things are going to get tough for him in the near future.
