Young and the Restless fans seem to be cheering hard for Lily and Cane to end up back together. They still love one another very much, but Lily is hurt. Her husband cheated on her, he lied to her about it, and he made a bigger mess by continuing to lie about things until he found out his one-night stand was pregnant. She died in surgery, he has a premature baby who is fighting for his life, and she’s still in love with him. He with her, too. And they want to be together.
But Lily is hurt. She’s not sure she can put herself in a situation with him once again where he has a chance to hurt her the way he’s already done. But she can’t be too into things because she knows how fragile Cane is right now. He’s dealing with so much on his own. She’s considering getting back together with him, but she can’t get her husband’s hopes up if she is not positive.
And right now she’s just not there. She’s just not in that place and she cannot say for certain whether or not she’s willing to work on things with him at this point. She doesn’t know, and it doesn’t look good for them. But we have hope it will work in the near future. We are cheering for him to get back together, and we are hopeful that Cane can make this happen for his family and the future of his new baby.
