Young and the Restless fans know that Phyllis is a hot tempered kind of woman, but she’s usually good about keeping it together. She’s strong and she’s capable, but she’s spiraling with the recent events in her life. She’s gone so far as to use her own daughter and her marriage to Jack’s son to her advantage, and she’s blackmailing Jack with this. Her own daughter is mad at her, and she doesn’t have room to be mad at her mother in this moment considering the fact that her own life is a mess following her hospital stay, her husband telling her that he did spend some time in a hotel room with Lola, who he is in love with. Things are a mess, and Summer is going to lose it if they don’t get better. But, we also know that things sometimes get better with time, and there is that. So, for now, we do happen to sit back and wait.
Lily has decided it’s time for her to brighten her own future and move on. Her kids have told their father that it’s all right for him to move on from their mother when she decided to end their marriage, and he doesn’t want to. But, Cane has no choice. Lily doesn’t want to be married to him anymore. And he has no choice in that matter. She’s done, and he has to sit back and focus on that and realize that there is nothing he can do to change this. Will he go back to Victoria? And will she say yes to Billy when she has more time to think about his marriage proposal? Or, will her night in Vegas with a musician end up haunting her more than anything else in her life? We don’t know for certain.

Things might look up for some this week, but we won’t count on it. The week might be something interesting to all of us, but it will come down to things getting a little more confusing than good. For one. Mariah is getting a little bit out of control in the moment. Her life is not where she wants it to be. She and Tessa are not in a good place all the time, and she knows it but she fights for it regardless. And then things are not working out for her with this letter she got. She had to take it to her mother and Rey, and he is going to do what he can to help her. But, he will face some opposition trying to use his resources since it’s clear that Paul is done with him and not having any of that. In that note, we have to point out that Paul and Nikki seem to be spending a lot of time together, and we can see a lot more of that happening as the week goes on.
There are some things going on that might not make sense, but we can see that happening in the favor of Nikki. She always gets what she wants. And she wants to know what her own husband is doing paying a therapist in Vegas. Will Victoria and Billy figure that one out, or will they struggle since Phyllis is in their business and making a mess of their lives, too? This week should bring some answers.
