The advances in 3D printing are accelerating at a rate where it’s going to become difficult to know if a particular object comes from human construction or from 3D printing.  What began as simple “fun” has gotten to the level of 3D printing new body parts, accessories for nearly anything, and even actual buildings.   When it comes to the fantasy world, 3D printing has come a long way there as well.   Many artists and dedicated fans of movies and television have taken to 3D printing to make their favorite characters come to life.  But they’re also using the technology to create some unbelievable costumes as well.  Case in point?

Melissa Ng is a self taught artist, and she starting doing 3D printing in 2014.  Now she has put all of her skills together to create the coolest suit of armor the world has ever seen.  Below you’ll see a series of photos documenting the entire process that Ng used.    I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these exact models were used in movies of the future.
