Will & Kate: Love, Looks and Body Language

will-and-kate

Will and Kate have captivated the world with their romance ever since the pair got together in the early 2000s, with their relationship often being compared to one which could be portrayed in a Disney movie. Prince William and Kate Middleton have been together since 2004 after the Duke saw his future Duchess walk the runway at a Cambridge fashion show. Twelve years later, the royal couple has been pictured on their tour of Canada, and they appear to be as in love as ever if we look closely at their body language.

Body language is crucially important when it comes to relationships. Whether it is your own or a celebrity couple you’re trying to decipher, you will learn a lot from the subtle signs it displays. For instance, some of the signs he likes you include eye contact and smiling, as well as his posture. If a man is standing tall next to you it probably means he’s attracted to you as he is subconsciously displaying his masculinity. This can also be observed in celebrity romances.

Some of you may recall that Prince Charles and Diana visited India in 1992, or more importantly the photographs that were published of the couple. At the time it was clear that the two were not meant to be as they were often pictured looking awkward and cold towards each other. Two months later, the world was informed of their separation.

Thankfully, their son William and his wife are living a completely different relationship. Towards the end of September, the loved-up couple visited the isolated island society of Bella Bella and the indigenous Heiltsuk people. There, during a lengthy ceremony, Will and Kate were often seen smiling at each other whilst Kate repeatedly placed her hand on her husband’s leg and leaned into him.

“The couple’s body language is very synchronized with the couple almost mirroring each other,” Robin Kermode, a body language and communications coach, told the Daily Mail. “Their eye contact is better than ever and they are holding each other’s gaze, which is also a sign of being relaxed in each other’s company.”

Kermode went on to state that Kate often gazes at her husband adoringly with an open expression and a genuine smile that includes her entire face. The couple’s bodies were almost always directed towards each other, with Kate even putting her crossed legs over Will’s lap at one point.

On October 1st, Kate and Will visited the Immigrant Services Society, an organization that provides help for refugees, women and children, and again it appeared that the couple were deeply in love. Kate was often spotted placing her hand protectively on Will’s back with a joyous smile spread across her face.

Kate remained in physical contact with Will as they left the Government House, where their two young children were staying, later that day. She made sure to keep a protective hand on Will’s thigh as he spoke to Justin Trudeau, a move that is natural according to Kermode.

We absolutely love seeing pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and we hope to see many more as their relationships continues to grow and development!
