She was quick to point out she would happily be the villain the ladies of Beverly Hills are looking for, and we immediately liked her. Diana Jenkins is the kind of woman other women traditionally don’t welcome into the circle right away – she’s beautiful, wealthy, and outspoken. She’s the woman many women find intimidating, and we find her downright fascinating. So, what is here to learn about the woman who came into season 12 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to shake things up with the clique-y cast ostensibly?
Diana Jenkins is Not the Only New Girl on the Block
Only one thing makes being the new girl on a long-standing show with a group of women who have been friends for years – and that’s being the only new woman that season. Thankfully, Diana Jenkins is one of two new housewives being introduced during season 12 of the hit franchise. She joins actor Will Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino. They have a lot to deal with this season, but they’re both big girls capable of handling themselves with grace and elegance.
She Was Born and Raised in Bosnia But Was Forced to Flee
Her childhood was not the easiest childhood on the block. Diana Jenkins was born and raised in Bosnia when things were not going well. There was a great deal of unrest in her country. She and her family fled to London in the 90s. It was during the Siege of Sarajevo. The war was tragic, and her family needed to get out. They were able to get out of the country safely, thankfully, and they landed in London. She spent the rest of her childhood there.
She’s a Successful Business Owner
Diana Jenkins does not exactly fit into the traditional role of housewife, but here she is. She is a college-educated woman who left university and took over an existing line of swimwear called Melissa Odabash. By 2009, she had a concept, and she ran with it. That concept is called Neuro Brands, which is her brainchild. It’s a lifestyle drink company, and she created it from the ground up. You can call it her baby if you will. She’s a successful CEO heavily involved in the day-to-day running of her business. Less than two years after she launched Neuro, she also launched an entertainment company. She’s also the CEO and founder of D Empire Entertainment.
She’s Divorced, and She is a Proud Mother, and She’s Engaged
Diana Jenkins is a successful businesswoman, but she was not quite as successful in the marriage department. She married a man who is famous in Europe. His name is Roger Jenkins. He goes by Big Dog, and he can do that. He’s famous because he is a banker in Britain, the highest-paid banker. The couple married in 1999, but their marriage only lasted 12 years. They obtained a divorce in 2011. She and her ex could not make their marriage work, but they are both proud parents to the two children they share. Their son and daughter are Innis and Enya. Her son is an artist, and her daughter is an equestrian.
Despite her first marriage not working, she is working on a second marriage. She introduced her musician fiancé to the world during season 12 of RHOBH. His name is Asher Monroe. Interestingly enough, the star met him in 2010. He is 15 years younger than Diana Jenkins at 33. The couple began dating shortly after her divorce was finalized, and now they are planning their own wedding. It’s a logical step, considering the couple welcomed their first child – her third – together in 2020. Their little girl is Eliyanah. She’s been open about the fact that she’s hopeful the couple will welcome even more children together. Sadly, she announced she went through a recent miscarriage while filming. Our hearts go out to her and her family after such a sad loss.
Will She Be Asked Back for Season 13?
No one has said a word about it, but she’s not making many friends or fans on the show. Many people feel she’s not entirely good with her words. Even Kathy Hilton said she forgets that Diana Jenkins is even on the show, and other fans find her to be a classic mean girl. Regardless of what fans think, however, there is word yet whether she will be back for another season. Bravo will announce their decisions as they’re made, as they always do.
