One of the biggest stories to come out of Fate of the Furious was the supposed beef between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. Some think that it was completely contrived to stir up controversy before the premiere of the movie and to drum up ticket sales. I happen to believe this theory. It just seems extremely curious that nearly minutes after the movie killed it in the box office that both stars signed on to do a Fast and Furious 9 and 10. Whatever their beef may be or have been, it still doesn’t address one thing in real life: Who would win a fight? These are two pretty tough men but apparently Vin Diesel doesn’t think it’d even be a contest.

If Vin Diesel and The Rock came to blows, Vin is adamant he’d whoop Rock’s butt all the way back to the WWE … and he’s serious. Just ask UFC champ Tyron Woodley — who says he was confronted by Vin (in a non-violent way) at the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” premiere because Tyron publicly picked Rock to win in a hypothetical cage match. Woodley explained the whole thing on the “TMZ Sports” TV show on FS1 — saying Vin “pulled up” on him at the premiere and explained why.
People seem to forget that Vin Diesel was a bouncer in his early days. The Rock was a pro wrestler, yes, but does that mean he could scrap in a real fight? I think I’d go with Diesel on this one.
