The “Friends” Theme is hands down one of the most recognizable television theme songs in history. “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrants will always conjure up memories for the show and just as great, provide the band with a residual check as long as the show remains in syndication. Over the years countless stars have sung the song and given it their own twist. But perhaps one of the best was done last night on The Tonight Show.
Vanessa Hudgens stopped by to visit with Jimmy Fallon but it wasn’t long before the two got into their own rendition of the famed “Friends” theme. While you might expect Vanessa to nail her part, Fallon does an incredible job as well. It feels like centuries ago that Hudgens was in High School Musical playing the love interest of Zac Efron. The actress has come a long way since then and she’s now the star of a new show called “Powerless.”
Powerless is an upcoming American action comedy series developed by Ben Queen for NBC, and the first sitcom series set within the world of the DC Universe. The pilot, which was green lighted in August 2015, has been ordered to series on May 11, 2016. The series is set to premiere on February 2, 2017
