Since we’re currently in the reboot and remake era, you want a great reboot? Unsolved Mysteries. Unfortunately the host of Unsolved Mysteries, Robert Stack, died in 2003, but that doesn’t mean the show couldn’t be revived. The last time it was on the air was 1999. For those of you who never got a chance to see this show, the series used re-enactments and interviews to retell the circumstances of real mysteries that were unsolved. Covering crimes, tales of lost love, unexplained history and paranormal events, viewers were encouraged to call in with information that might solve the mystery.
While I await a call from the networks to hire me as host of the new show, we can all take pleasure in the fact that Amazon is now streaming Unsolved Mysteries. I’m not sure for how long this show is going to be streamed but if I were you I’d get out the popcorn, curl up in a blanket, and watch the hell out of this show.
Too bad you won’t get any sleep because EVERY episode of Unsolved Mysteries was freaky. Freaky because these were all real stories. How is this show not rebooted? I don’t get it. Remember the intro? I do.
