Twin Peaks Missing Poster has a Hotline Number That Actually Works

The hype for the revival of hit show Twin Peaks has been nothing short of spectacular.   Even Game of Thrones which I think is tops at marketing their new seasons gives away information about the show.    However Twin Peaks has managed to not say a peep and yet every single thing they’ve put out there has been gold and has sparked more anticipation of what the show is going to bring us.  We saw a 30 second trailer that gave away nothing.  Then we saw these interesting posters that also gave away nothing.    We even got a chance to listen to new audio clips narrated by Sheryl Lee that also gave away nothing.

So what’s the latest?  Down under in Australia as part of the marketing for the show, people have been pasting missing persons posters of Laura Palmer all over the place.  Only there’s a catch.  There’s actually a hotline number you can call for more information.  Turns out that the phone number actually works and if you call it you’ll get something Twin Peaks related.   Check this out:

Here’s the actual recording when you call that line. Awesome.
