The art of dodging the blame was on full display during a reality TV show’s live broadcast from Monterrey, Mexico.
Ernesto Chavana, the host of the Spanish-language comedy show, “Es Show,” lost his cool during the episode and left a woman bleeding on air.
“He doesn’t even run to her to check on her and apologize. He just stands there like a sociopath,” one commented online.

Viewers were stunned while watching the October 26 broadcast of “Es Show,” a late-night variety program featuring comedy, music, dancing, games, and celebrity guests.
Ernesto Chavana seemed furious during one viral moment, looking upset over something related to the production.
Almost without a second thought, he kicked a drone that was hovering a few feet away from him.

The drone flew straight into the face of a model, Isabella “La Colombiana” Rojas.
Participants and crew members gasped as Rojas began to writhe in pain.
People eventually helped the model walk away from the cameras, while Chavana barely moved from his spot.
“See what you have done,” the comedy show host said instead of immediately offering an apology

“See what you have done,” Chavana then yelled at the staff instead of immediately offering an apology to the wounded model.
Rojas later returned to the stage and managed to keep a smile on her face, despite what happened.
Chavana then apologized for his actions and decided to blame his shoes.

“I’m very sorry. I am responsible for what just happened. I feel very ashamed and embarrassed for what I have just done,” he told the woman, who became a victim of his tantrum.
“I kicked this thing they put in front of me… I don’t know, maybe it was my new shoes,” he went on to say.
Rojas became popular as a content creator before joining the show, which has been running for years.
Chavana is a familiar face on Mexican television, with decades of hosting experience

A familiar face on Mexican television, Chavana has been a host for decades and has been at the helm of “Es Show” for years.
In a video shared on social media, he addressed his on-air blunder and said he’s ready to “face up to it.”
“I am not hiding. I am aware of the mistake I made yesterday by kicking a drone during a situation that came up on the program,” he told viewers.
“I offered apologies to Isabella on air, and I took full responsibility for the event,” he added.
The Canal 6 team, which broadcasts the show, said they would be covering medical expenses and taking care of damages for Rojas.

The show itself had shared footage of the incident on their Instagram page, putting the awkward moment in front of its 1 million followers.
The caption read, “Chavana gets angry over Angel Castro’s inept handling and kicks a drone live on air.”
Netizens were outraged over the incident, saying Chavana should have handled the situation better.
“Poor girl… I hope she sues that production and that man,” one commented online

Many believed he didn’t seem apologetic for his burst of rage, leaving a woman physically hurt.
“That wasn’t no accident,” one said, while another wrote, “It’s all over social media and he didn’t accidentally kicked it. He was furious and kicked it and then blame the stuff. He didn’t apologize to the woman or move to help.”
“[He] didn’t feel a second of remorse for hurting someone,” one said.

Another wrote, “On top of that, they say look what you provoked. So typical of an ab*ser.”
“The worst part is that after he realizes he hurt the girl, instead of immediately apologizing and recognizing his outburst, on the contrary, he kept yelling for them to get the drone out!” said another. “They should fire him and remove him immediately from the program.”
“He doesn’t even run to her to check on her and apologize. He just stands there like a sociopath,” one said
