If you’ve never seen The Wire then you’re in for a real treat. It’s like discovering a brand new show that’s on television and you become completely addicted to it as you would any other show. I was like that with Breaking Bad. I never saw the show live, not once. Then I just binged watched the hell out of it a year after the show had completed and I was blown away. I highly recommend you do the same thing with The Wire. Many people who have watched it consider it to be one of their favorite shows of all-time. P.S. I truly hope they never bring the show back. Not that it wouldn’t be awesome but it’s nice to look back in the show with such admiration and legendary status.
Anyway, I think it’s time to start bringing back The Wire clips from time to time on this site. Today I’d like to start with the first episode of season 4. Snoop walks in to a hardware store and buys a nail gun to board some vacant buildings….. or not. But just watch how the guy helping Snoops gets totally into the conversation. It’s incredible. Also I love how the store is called “Hardware Barn.”
P.S. is it me or does Snoop look a ton like Raven Symone? “That’s so Snoop!”
