Young and the Restless fans are always watching people find the love of their life only to realize that they are not that at all. It happens at least once a week around here, and that means that there are a lot of broken hearts, a lot of deceit, and a lot of bad moments between people around here. We know for a fact that there were a lot of people around here who would fall in love with someone who was totally wrong for them, and they would not like it when things did not go their way. It seems almost everyone in Genoa City has a true love of their life, a person who they cannot seem to live without, and someone who will always be able to come along the way and mess things up for them because they cannot seem to remember that not everyone is ‘the one’ in their own lives. We are always confused by people, but these are some of the worst couples we’ve seen try and make it work. Do you agree?
Sharon and Adam
They were so in love for a moment, but we think it’s all sexual for them. There is nothing there that’s good, working, or even kind. They are not a good fit for one another, and they don’t do well together. For one, he’s not a man who has his life together at all. She’s so much more serious than he is, and she is so much more put together than he is. She’s looking for things he cannot give her, which is a solid relationship in which she can be happy and in love. He’s still a teenage boy at heart who likes to get what he wants, when he wants it, and he is never happy to just be happy. He’s petulant, mean, and manipulative, and we think she is a lot better than that. Of course, she doesn’t see that.
Ashley and Victor
Honestly, they could probably work if they really wanted to. They are both just as evil and manipulative as the other, and they would probably make a wonderful team of awful people trying to take over the world. However, they just don’t click. The chemistry is not there. They don’t make it work no matter how hard they try, and they don’t seem to have much to offer one another in that manner. But, we know that they have something else to look forward to, which is their own personal feelings for one another. They do have something that the other doesn’t have, which is a situation that works for them, but not the other. He is better suited for Nikki and their own life, but this is a couple who did have a daughter together. They did try to make it work, and they did try to see if they could make this situation a powerful one.
Sharon and Nick
They might work better than she and Adam, but they just don’t work. Like we said of Sharon and Adam, there is one person in this couple who is just immature, not good for the other, and not someone who we want to see together. She is that person this time. She’s not serious enough for Nick. She’s the immature one who is too much like a child to make things work around here. She’s not looking for the same things he is looking for. Nick is a man who wants to take care of his business, be a good parent, and be there for his kids. He wants a wife he can grow old with, be happy with, and leave the drama behind. He’s looking or more than she is. But, at the same time, we also think that he has to stop cheating on women if he’s really going to get to that point, but we would bet he could do that before she could grow up and be the kind of woman he needs. They are not good for one another, but they do make a lovely set of friends if you ask us. Do you agree?
