Days of Our Lives fans know a thing or two about baby mama drama, but it’s never something we can handle when it all comes falling apart. There’s a lot of baby drama on this show, and we are breaking down some of the most outrageous baby drama that’s happening right now or in the past year or so. It seems as if the show has been full of baby drama that just will not go away, and we cannot help but wonder if anyone can just have a baby around here and make it their own without worrying that someone will take the baby from them or that even though they gave birth to the baby, it’s not really their own baby. Is that possible? Well, here are some of the most shocking baby drama moments of late.
Eli, Lani, and JJ’s Baby Drama
We want to take a moment and focus on the fact that this baby ending was one of the worst we’ve ever seen. Killing this baby at the end of the day was not the best choice, and it’s been devastating. That baby caused some serious drama even if we all lost our minds and our hearts broke into a million pieces when the baby did not make it.
First, JJ was with Lani, but he was having a rough week. You see, he was accused of doing something truly awful, but it was an accident. He was at risk of losing his job, his life, and everything he ever valued. That’s when Lani decided that she would spend Christmas Eve with Eli rather than with her boyfriend. She slept with him, got pregnant, and then flipped out. She couldn’t tell JJ that she cheated and this was not his baby after all she’d already done.
So, she lied. She let him think that her baby was also his, and he was over the moon with excitement about the entire thing. That’s when it all came out that the baby was really Eli’s. JJ was crushed, everyone was ruined, and lives were forever changed. And then the baby died.
Abigail and Chad
They’re having a baby, but they don’t know they are having a baby. You see, they both think that the baby belongs to Stefan. Abby has been through so much in her young life that her body and mind revolted and allowed an evil alternate personality to take over her mind and body. That woman, Gabby, not only killed a man and then lied on the stand to tell the world it was Abby’s friend Gabi who did it, she also slept with Stefan, kidnapped people, and did other horrible things.
And Gabi switched the paternity tests after Abigail got better and found out she was pregnant. She’s so mad about what happened to her thanks to Gabby that she is punishing her friend. The baby does belong to Chad, but she switched the results to make it seem as if the baby belongs to Stefan. Now Chad live with her and he is playing house with her and making his life with her rather than his actual wife with whom he does already have a baby. This story line isn’t done yet, but it will be.
Chloe and Nicole
Nicole’s love died in a horrible accident, and she missed him. Chloe used their fertilized eggs to get pregnant, and she lied to her friend. She told her friend that as her surrogate, she could not carry her baby and that the implantation didn’t work. However, she did tell her friend that she and Deimos were having a baby. She lied for months until it came out that her baby was actually Nicole’s baby with her dead fiancé, and that she would not give this baby to Nicole because she was in a relationship with Deimos.
She left him, kidnapped her baby, Brady went with her, and they were on the run. This ultimately led to her and her baby being kidnapped, her losing her baby to Chloe and Chloe leaving. Nicole got her baby back eventually, and then she took off. However, it’s been an ugly situation from the start, and it’s not one that they can handle.
