The Best Young and the Restless Villains

The Best Young and the Restless Villains

Young and the Restless fans are very familiar with the term villain. We know one off the top of our heads who has been making people miserable and taking names for some time, and he’s just one of many really amazing characters this show has to offer. If you’re in the market to find out who we think makes the list of best villains in Genoa City, sit back and relax. But also remember that it seems everyone around here is a terrible villain, so this list is going to seem awfully short since it can’t contain the names of every single person ever.

Victor Newman

We’ll just start with hi because he’s the worst and the best. He’s a terrible man who will never stop until he gets everything he’s ever wanted. What makes him particularly reprehensible is the fact that he will go out of his own way to make sure he’s basically taking down everyone who gets in his way no matter who they are. His own children, his own family, and his own spouse are all on the list of people he’s had killed, tortured, kidnapped, or destroyed. He has no problem taking his own grandchildren from his kids, and he has no problem being a terrible man when it suits him — which is daily, really.

JT Hellstrom

Now, we know he’s not exactly the most villainous villain around, and he’s not been on the show in such a long time, either. However, when he made his grand return in 2018, it was with his same old happy go lucky attitude. He’s still a little conniving and mean, he doesn’t make the best choices, and he certainly doesn’t have it all together. But he goes down as the worst of the worst when he began to abuse his ex-wife and current girlfriend, Victoria Newman. The moment he put his hands around her neck and threw her up against a wall, he went from ‘whatever’ to ‘the worst’ in a matter of seconds. It was horrible, it was painful to watch, and it struck a nerve with so many people. We didn’t care at all when he did that thing were he pushed Victor down the stairs and almost killed him — someone needed to do it — but abusing Victoria was too much for us. It’s what makes him make our list.

Sheila Carter

How much fun is it to see one character win on this list on two different shows? She’s just that awful, and we think that’s just that fantastic. She’s been her and on the Bold and the Beautiful, as herself, and she’s made no friends on either show. She’s done everything she can to make Lauren Fenmore miserable, and she’s done a fairly good job of it, too. She’s made her cry. She’s kidnapped her. She tried to kill her more than once, and she never stopped going out of her way to make that woman’s life miserable. She’s ruthless, and we love that about her ability to be a terrible villain.

Hilary Curtis

She’s only been around a few years, but she showed up in Genoa City to get revenge on Neil for what she blamed him for doing, which was killing her mother. She went out of her way to make his life miserable, which caused some serious problems for her with Lily, who is his daughter and Cane’s wife. She eventually decided to marry Neil, then sleep with his son, Devon, and then leave him for Devon. They divorced, and the entire family has basically been terrorized by her. She drugged Cane to get him in bed, worked to set him up for his affair with another woman whom he got pregnant, and did everything in her power to ruin the entire family that he was a part of. She’s now been forgiven by her ex-husband, Devon, moved in with him, and she’s made herself quite a life with him in the last couple of weeks. She’s young, ruthless, and just one of those villains who will go out of her own way to see if she can make the entire world miserable because misery loves company.
