You might think it’s something about show business but a lot of people, both those that are artists and those that aren’t, deal with depression and anxiety. But those like James Arthur that are easily seen and viewed by the public as celebrities are much more noticeable when they talk about it. James has been around since 2012 when he won the X Factor and was signed to a contract not too much later, but it would appear that as much as he’s done, and there’s quite a bit to his career at this point, he still suffers from episodes of anxiety now and again. Maybe it’s the lifestyle or maybe it’s something else, but for the most part he seems to be handling things okay since he’s still around and doing what he loves to do. At the very least he’s been pumping out tracks and collecting accolades and awards for the last several years, so things seem to be looking up.

5. You Deserve Better
It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to really keep up with who’s popular now, who’s been around for a while, and who is trending at this moment as each and every artist that tries to make an impact on the industry is vying for a spot in the hearts and minds of their fans. The amusing thing is that some fans would be hard-pressed to say just who is their favorite when it comes to the music. James Arthur is another voice that has become popular in the last several years while gaining fame from those that kind of move on from one person to the next while following trends more than music.
4. Can I Be Him
He’s a talented man that’s for certain since not just anyone can start singing and be called a superstar. There are obviously those in the industry that are starting to get older and thinking about retirement or are thinking of slowing down, meaning that there will always be the need for those that feel the need to sing coming up through the ranks. To date James has made a very big name for himself and has proved that he can be that next person in line, but it’s going to be interesting to see in the next several years if he has the kind of staying power he needs and can possibly contend with any newcomers that might emerge while he’s on the scene.

Popularity in the music industry is a fleeting thing sometimes and at other times it can be something that’s grasped and never let go as fans do their utmost to help those they really like stay on as long as possible. In truth the fans are the ones that really make the singers since they’re the ones listening and the ones that ultimately decide whether or not a person is worth their time and the effort of giving their undivided attention. So far enough people have deemed James worthy and have been willing to listen to him more than once as some people obviously have become tremendous fans.

When it comes to the various talent shows you see people singing the songs of others as a rule so that it can be determined if they have the range and the skill to advance or if they’re just reaching for the stars with too short of a ladder. But in this case singing a cover song that was originated by another artist can be seen as an homage or a polite nod to that artist and is often done for various reasons. There are actually fans that bristle at the thought of one artist singing another’s song but more often than not it’s with permission and is done in a way that is both tasteful and respectful since there’s no need for hard feelings if it can be avoided.
1. Say You Won’t Let Go
The whole idea of James being famous for having won a contest as several others has makes some people roll their eyes and others think of him as one of the most talented people in the business. In truth it’s all a matter of getting the fans to love you and he’s done that. Gaining the trust and respect of the fans is the one thing that no artist can do without since without that they’re singing for themselves and won’t have much of a career to speak of, meaning that there won’t be much of anything to write about since they’d be just another person singing in their apartment or house for an audience of one.
With James however, that’s obviously not the case as he’s inspired millions at this point in his career.
