The Bold and the Beautiful fans knew that Reese was in some kind of mess, but we didn’t realize just how much of a mess until we saw him have to save his daughter from a thug who was threatening her life at the sound stage. He was making sure she knew that she would pay for things that she didn’t even do and that she wasn’t even aware of — and it didn’t go well. They didn’t have much to say about this, but she was terrified. And her father had to rush there and save her to make sure things were not going to happen in a way that might not make her feel good. She’s afraid for her own life, and he is afraid for her. She’s not going to be safe if he cannot make this change, and that’s something he needs to think of. He’s created something that he cannot change, and he’s lost.
Liam, on the other hand, is making some moves. He held the baby that Steffy was thinking of adopting — she’s going to adopt this baby — and he feels an instant connection. He loves this baby already — probably because it’s his baby, if you ask us — and he’s happy for Steffy. The problem, however, is that he is not going to find that his wife is happy for him or for her. She will not think this is a wonderful thing, and she will hate that he feels an instant connection to this baby and that this is one more thing that is killing her and breaking her heart. She will not find this amusing, and we cannot help her in any way at this point in time. She’s going to make this situation so bad for herself, and there probably isn’t anything anyone can do to help her with that.

We do, but not until it’s so late in the adoption that they cannot do anything but break Steffy’s heart.

Florence is finally beginning to realize just what a mess Reese has created for himself in his life, and she’s not amused by it. She might be too ingrained at this point, however, for it to make much of a difference. She might not have much else to say or do about any of this, and we just aren’t sure there is anything that might work for this and for him. But she will keep quiet because she’s afraid of what it might mean for her if she does not. We aren’t sure how any of this will play out in the meantime, but we are sure that there has to be something she can say or do that might make things easier on her. At this time, however, we can’t say she will make any wise decisions. All we can say right now is this is ugly.
But nothing, and we do mean nothing, will be as horrifying as the moment when Liam tells his wife that he was with Kelly and Steffy and met the baby that Steffy is going to adopt. This is all new information to her, and she’s horrified. She is not even the least bit happy for her stepsister in this moment. Everything is hurting her, and she’s going to lose her mind. She’s going to breakdown, and there’s not much that Liam will know to do to make her feel better. He’s happy for Steffy, but there is nothing he can say to Hope to make her feel at all better.
