The Bold and the Beautiful fans are shocked that so many things are happening around here, but no one is shocked that there are so many villains in the picture. You see, we love a good villain, and we cannot help but want to see more of them around here on a regular basis. We love to see the men and women who come into this show and do things turn lives around, make them horrible, and then run off into the wind to get what they want. 2019 has been a year of them, too, and we cannot believe just how bad this year has turned people into the kind of people they never thought they’d be. We want to see more of these people, and we love what they are doing in terms of their skills and their job. Here are our favorite villains of 2019.
Brooke
Some might not agree with this, but she’s been such a villain this year. She’s been doing all she can to get what she wants in life, and she’s not been giving her husband, her family, or anyone else much of a choice other than to go with her and what she feels is the right thing to do. You see, she began this year wanting to see her daughter end up with Liam, so she did everything she could to convince him to leave his wife and the mother of his newborn baby when Kelly was born. She went behind her husband’s back to try and get this young man to leave his own daughter to be with her daughter, and that was ugly. Then she got her way. Then her granddaughter was assumed dead, her daughter spiraled, and Brooke went out of her way to make sure everyone else was miserable so that her daughter had a shot at happiness. She went behind her husband’s back yet again, she went behind her daughter’s back, and she did all kinds of things no normal mother would ever do. She’s a consummate villain, and we all know this to be true.
Thomas
He came back saddened and upset, and he was in a vulnerable place. His baby’s mother died. The woman he loved for a long time was dead, and he wanted to take care of his son. He felt that Hope would make a wonderful mother, so he tried hard to get her to fall for him. At first, it was sweet how much he would do for her to make her fall for him and his love for her. Then he began using his son to get what he wanted. Then he began putting his son in danger to get what he wanted. Then he found out the truth about Hope’s baby, and then he began lying out of his mind to her. That’s when the crazy began. He might have some mental health issues that prevent him from making good choices, but we cannot help but assume he is in a horrible place with his life right now. He needs help, and we cannot be sure he has a future at the moment, so he might not get that help.
Shauna
She’s horrible, but we love her. However, some might argue she is not the real villain here, but that her daughter is. Well, we don’t think Flo is smart enough to be a real villain. She only went along with what she went along with because she was desperate and had no options, but we don’t think she would have done it if she’d known the family at the time this happened. She’s too scared to be a real villain, but her mother is not. Her mother is good to go in terms of making sure she gets what she wants and thing go her way. she’s happy to make sure things get hidden and covered up so that she can have her life and her newfound wealth and privilege, and she’s not thrilled her daughter ruined that for her. So, what now? How does this work from this point on? Will she make some changes, or will she get worse over time? We don’t know yet.
