The Best Uses of Michael Buble Songs in Movies or TV

If you think that Michael Buble is just a talented singer that came up through the ranks based on his voice then you don’t know much about the man. He did earn his way up but he also made a few stops along the way as he had a desire to become a hockey player at one point and was allowed to work a commercial fishing boat at another time in his life. Michael admits to sleeping with a bible in his bed every night as he prayed that he would become a famous singer someday, but in the meantime he gained a lot of valuable life experience that managed to make him an even more interesting character than he might have been in the first place. In fact his family didn’t even find out that he had a strong proclivity for singing until he was 13 and impressed them immensely with his range. For someone that’s wanted to sing since he was 2 years old he did take his time starting a career, but somehow it seems as though those years spent doing other things were worth it.

Here are a few of his songs as used in movies and TV.

5. Family Guy – Haven’t Met You Yet

Any time a singer or one of their songs is featured on Family Guy you know very well that it’s going to turn out to be something inherently messed up or otherwise cringe-worthy. That’s usually the whole idea since quite often it’s seen that laughing at such things is the whole point of the show and trying to find something that will either make a person’s jaw drop or shock them into silence or laughter is what it’s all about. On one hand though you can see how it’s funny since the absurdity of it is usually pushed to the breaking point considering that Family Guy never takes a joke just halfway. They go all in all the time.

4. South Park – It’s A Beautiful Day

It’s kind of funny how Cartman is the most expressive of the bunch on this show since he’s the kid you would think might have the most hangups because of his weight and the way people view his character. But despite all that he has the most vocal personality and is the most outgoing person in the whole show if you really look at it even if he doesn’t have a lot of reasons to think he’s that great. But if you look at his character from a psychological standpoint you might be able to deduce that he’s so confident because he’s built himself up so much in his own head that no one else’s opinion really matters.

3. NCIS – Lost

Fans of this show have been pretty adamant throughout its run that Gibbs is simply the man and he’s the guy that you don’t cross if you can avoid it since he’s a Marine sniper and he’s also the kind of guy that knows things just by looking at a person. He’s also got a past just like everyone else however and in this episode it’s revealed that his father is alive and that he comes from a very small town where just about everyone knew each other. But you also get to realize that Gibbs was fairly uncertain about his life growing up and that there was a time when he wasn’t quite so enigmatic. Plus, the fact remains that he’s always had a thing for redheads.

2. Malcolm in the Middle – Sway

This show was very entertaining largely because of the three brothers that were the focal point for so long. Reese was simply the dumb older brother that resorted to violence to get his way more often than not, Dewey was the kid that got ignored a lot and was often left to his own devices, while Malcolm was the guy that thought he knew everything and more often than not did. The fact of the matter however is that they all resorted to violence at one point or another to get their way, but Malcolm was the one that usually tried to outsmart and impress people because of his need for acceptance and to prove that he was the smartest person in the room at any given time.

1. Hotel Transylvania 3 – It’s Party Time

Even monsters need to go on a vacation from time to time, and of course the Bermuda Triangle would be the only spot that’s really acceptable. But when Drac falls in love with a descendant of the very person that tried to kill him in the past it becomes something of an awkward vacation that almost turns into tragedy. But of course at the end everyone makes nice and the family grows just a bit more as old enemies become friends and the party gets to continue.

Michael Buble is a talented singer, but he’s also had an interesting life.
