Get ready for a story that might creep you beyond belief and have you checking your surroundings just to make certain everything is still the way you remember it. Last October you were introduced to Channel Zero, a program that would enable people to send in their favorite horror stories in an attempt to see them on screen. Creepypastas, stories told by creative writers in the guise of actual accounts, have become a fan favorite as of late and have inspired Channel Zero to keep moving forward with yet another series that will have you gripping the armrests of your favorite chair hard enough to feel your knuckles whiten. Thanks to the success of its first season, Candle Cove, Channel Zero has returned with the suspected hit No-End House.
Are you brave enough venture inside? Here are a few facts that might want to know first.
As you might have guessed, No-End house is an actual structure within the story.
There is a legend that no one can make it through the house. There is word of a reward that one will receive if they are to make it all the way through and then back to the outside. Most people think it’s rather silly, as would anyone that feels just a tad uncertain about a house that’s been allowed to slip into legend. But thinking that such things still have power in this day and age is silly, isn’t it? Be that as it may, no one has ever made it through No-End house as of yet.
Margot Sleater accepts the challenge, but notices right away that something doesn’t seem right.
Entering the house is the easy part, getting through it is what’s difficult. With each step she takes Margot begins to feel more and more uneasy, as though something is twisting at her guts, telling her that all is not well in the No-End house. There exists a series of rooms that she must open upon walking through the house, and behind each door she finds something different, some new challenge, and some new horror awaiting her that continues to build upon her unease. When she comes upon a room that seems to lead her outside however, Margot figures that she has come to the end of the house, and that she has won the prize. Little does she know that the only thing she’s done is to encountered the truth of No-End house. There is no escaping, hence the name.
Despite being a short story season 2 will be extended and rounded out as season 1 was in order to give the viewer the best experience possible. The internet has come alive as of late, allowing such things as creepypastas to give the average story writer a chance to see their works become something tangible that they can see and take credit for. Not every story that comes along is bound to be good or even passable for TV, but the opportunity given is still refreshing and quite nice for most writers that have an intriguing story to tell.
