It was politics as usual on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. After going through his normal routine of covering Trump and his cabinet appointments, or should I say people that rejected cabinet appointments, he brought up a name that’s been lost in the fray for the past few days: Kellyanne Conway. He compared Conway’s credibility to that of singer Moby. Why? You might recall earlier in the week that Moby put out an Instagram post citing sources that were “friends of mine in DC” who confirmed some horrific information about the administration. Colbert remarked,
“You know you can trust Moby: He’s got connections in the highest echelons of Washington’s vegan cafes,” Colbert joked. “If you’re wondering when Moby’s Instagram became the public record, it was shortly after Trump’s Twitter feed became the Library of Congress.” Colbert also touched on the case of Tom Arnold, who for months has claimed that he has footage of Trump saying “the n-word” numerous times during the filming of Celebrity Apprentice.
White neither celebrity has a confirmed reliable source, it’s tough to say that Conway every has as well, which Colbert rightly pointed out. Check out the monologue below:
