Stephen Colbert covering the chaotic craziness that is Donald Trump’s campaign for president is nothing new for regular viewers of The Late Show. However, when members of Colbert’s audience tune in, they don’t typically expect to see the late night host trying to explain Trump’s actions or providing evidence to back up the Republican presidential candidate’s wild claims, but that’s indeed what Colbert did last night on The Late Show, as he attempted to create a united theory that would explain every single conspiracy and scandal against Donald Trump.
In order to properly illustrate what he was talking about, Colbert needed to bring out a chalkboard and draw a diagram, connecting the media (aka the Clinton Machine) with the international bankers and special interests that are all rallying together to take Donald Trump down. As everyone has seen, in recent weeks, since the tape of Trump and Billy Bush was released to the public, more and more women have spoken up and claimed that Trump sexually harassed or assaulted them, and even though Trump has stated that all these claims are “big lies,” Colbert believes he understands how The Donald got himself into all this trouble.
“Oh my God, the plot to make him look like a sexual harasser is coming from inside Donald Trump’s penis,” Colbert said, after he had completed his drawing of the diagram. “Now, I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that CBS blurred some or all of this image. But I can assure you, I can assure you, like a rear-view mirror, objects on this chalkboard are smaller than they appear.”
