There aren’t many movie franchise where a title alone will warrant the internet doing somersaults upon finding out but Star Wars is no ordinary franchise. Every single time the smallest iota of a clue comes out about anything Star Wars related, fans stop every single thing they’re doing and rush to their computers to find out what it is. Today I have nothing new on the Star Wars front but I wanted to point you to a video that deserves credit.
About a year ago, in May of 2016 this unknown video came out. To date it only has 661 views but it’s pretty impressive. This video contains one fan’s guesses for Star Wars: Episode VIII titles which as we know now is The Last Jedi. However, a year ago no one had a clue, except this guy.
He put together a thorough analysis of past films in trying to deduce all possible avenues the studios would go for a title. His guess of “The Last of the Jedi” is about as close as you can get to the exact thing. He also had some other decent ideas.
