With all of the hype surrounding the Star Wars movies, it’s hard to remember that Star Wars Rebels is alive and well. It’s 3rd season continues to unfold and the show is just as gripping as ever. A Han Solo movie and a Star Wars: The Last Jedi film may be grabbing all the headlines but don’t forget you can get your Stars Wars fix on with the animated version on Disney XD. According to CBR:
As the third season of “Star Wars Rebels” continues to unfold, Mandalorian demolitions expert Sabine Wren has taken on a new role within the Ghost crew. The episode “Trials of the Darksaber” dove deep into the history of both Sabine and Mandalore, all following the return of the powerful weapon known as the Darksaber. Now, Sabine is learning to control the Darksaber, for Mandalorian tradition has foretold that whoever wields the ancient Jedi weapon will be able to command a unified army. That unified army is exactly what the Rebels need, too, if they’re going to take on the Empire.

Hoping to get her family to help the rebels, Sabine returns home with Kanan and Ezra, and finds herself embroiled in her family’s power struggle for Mandalore.
