There is exciting news for fans of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ as there will be a baby starring in the show before the end of the year. Kenya Moore, one of the main cast members of the series has recently revealed the thrilling news that she is pregnant with her first child. She chose part one of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion show to reveal this news to fans. Rather than being a joyous revelation, it was actually one of the most awkward moments of the reunion show.
Andy Cohen, who was hosting the episode, jokingly asked the star if there was any news of her having a baby Twirl. As this is the name of her dog, Moore replied that she certainly wouldn’t be choosing that name for her baby but there was news. There were a few moments of silence while the other members of the cast absorbed what Moore had said before they finally realized that she was saying she is having a baby. The expressions on Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey’s faces made it clear that they had realized what had been revealed, although neither made comment until after Moore had clarified her news.
Eventually, after a long pause, Moore confirmed that she and her husband Marc Daley are expecting either a girl or a boy later in the year. Most of the other cast members instantly showed their delight at the news and seemed genuinely pleased for the couple. The exception to this was Sheree Whitfield. While the other cast members offered their congratulations to the mother-to-be, Whitfield sat emotionless. This is probably down to the fact that Moore and Whitfield are currently involved in a feud, both on-screen and away from the cameras. This is something that viewers have witnessed in many episodes of the RHOA series.
Host Andy Cohen seemed genuinely surprised to hear the news, so it seems unlikely that this was scripted into the episode. He went on to ask Moore how far into the pregnancy was, but Moore declined to give any further details. She explained that she was still feeling nervous and wanted to get to a safe place in the pregnancy before revealing any specific details. Saying that she didn’t want to give anything away did not stop her cast mates from speculating about the birth of her baby and trying to predict the gender. Cynthia Bailey even commented that she could have both a boy and a girl if she has twins.
Prior to appearing in ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’. Kenya Moore won the Miss USA title and worked as an actress. She has also worked as a model and appeared in ‘The Celebrity Apprentice 7′. Furthermore, she has her own production company called Moore Vision Media. In 2007, she also published an advice book titled ‘Game, Get Some!’. Moore has been married to Marc Daley since June 2017. Her husband is a businessman and restaurant owner. This will be the couple’s first child.
