Before I even start with this I just want to make sure that everyone out there reading this doesn’t feel the slightest amount of sympathy for Rachel Dolezal. OK, good. Now we can begin. Rachel Dolezal, the white woman infamous for identifying herself as a black person for decades and running a chapter of the NAACP, blames the “white media” for her troubles.
“It’s kind of a manufactured frenzy and controversy that got stirred up in 2015, right? By white media, the white parents, the white police… those are the people who instigated that controversy,” she told “Vice News Tonight” correspondent Dexter Thomas.
She’s now blaming the white media for black people being mad at her and it’s prevented her from getting a job. And yet it hasn’t prevented her from creating this “documentary” and writing a book that she’s promoting called In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World.
If one person buys this book, and I mean one, I’m writing them a personal letter to call them a moron.
“Right now the only place that I feel understood and completely accepted is with my kids and my sister,” she said, claiming she can currently count the number of friends she has left in Spokane on her fingers.
Wait a second. Is anyone surprised by this? You lied about being black, and not just for a short period of time, for YEARS. Now the only jobs you’re being offered are for reality TV and adult films. Hey, at least you’re getting offered SOMETHING. I’m sorry but there’s just zero sympathy from me here. It would be one thing if Dolezal never knew her ethnicity but she blatantly lied the entire time. It’s your bed, you gotta lie in it.
I hope this is the last time we have to bring her up, ever.
