Pretty Little Liars 1.14 “Careful What You Wish 4” Review

Pretty Little Liars 1.14 “Careful What You Wish 4” ReviewThis week’s Pretty Little Liars gave us another dance and more drama. Ian is feeling the heat, but will his actions at the end of tonight’s episode skyrocket him to the top of the suspects list?

Pretty Little Girls Should Know That Jealousy Is Not This Season’s Shade of Green

Aria was up in arms tonight after her old babysitter Simone (Alona Tal, Supernatural) came into town and was immediately paired up with Ezra by Ella Montgomery. Not only was Simone hot, but she shared Ezra’s age and love for writing. Aria only shares two of those attributes and I’m not even going to give you three guesses to figure out which one she’s severely lacking. After almost throwing everything she and Ezra built together under a bus, Aria came to her senses (thanks to Spencer), which lead to this week’s agnonizing discussion on the age difference between she and Ezra. While I understand that the age difference is the driving force for most of Ezra and Aria’s drama, it’s getting a little stale for me, maybe because there is only so much you can do with this storyline. If Ella had of started dating/persuing Ezra, then we would have a story. Always throwing people in between them who matches one or the other’s age is only proving to be quite predictable so far. I know I might be the only person who feels this way, but I’m cool with that. Just a thought.

Also, Byron and Ella tried to talk it out, but failed because Ella is just not feeling it right now. Sorry, Byron.

Pretty Little Girls Know They Must Make That Money, But Not Let The Money Make Them

Since this week’s dance is actually a fundraiser, the people participating must raise money to sponsor their class trip to D.C. HannaPretty Little Liars 1.14 “Careful What You Wish 4” Review thought she could find a job to cover her expenses, but didn’t have any luck. Enter A with an offer Hanna couldn’t refuse. Of course this “job” called for someone to be humiliated and this time Hanna had to dance with Lucas to make $200 per dance. The catch was to break his heart in the process, while enduring the wrath of Sean as well. The ‘prize’ money went up to $1000 for the final dance, but Hanna painfully did her duty to cash in. A drunken Emily called Hanna out for being like Allison, who did Emily the same way. It was hard watching Lucas get played like a chump, but Hanna triumphed in the end. Sort of, if you don’t count her dignity being lost.

Hanna is an easy target for A, due to her image and social status issues. Plus, is it me or has Hanna became A’s official whipping girl as of late with her demands? The other girls aren’t having to deal with A’s crap personally too much, so why has A taken a special interest in Hanna? Is it because Allison took special interest in Hanna herself? By the look of things, A is erasing all the self-confidence Allison bestowed on Hanna one text at a time. If this keeps up, then Hanna might will want to transfer to another school, because this is just too much to handle at this point.

Pretty Little Girls Have to Learn How To Work Their Connections to Get What They Want

This week, Emily was seriously trying to get into contact with Maya by calling, but kept meeting road blocks the size of a NFL lineman. After Hanna introduced her to the latest bad boy in Rosewood named Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), who specializes in enhancing phones and the like. Emily took interest in the kid, if only to get her phone fixed. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if Caleb’s bad boy angle catches Emily’s eye in the long run. Especially after Maya isn’t sounding as if she’s longing for Emily’s affection as much as Em’s longing for her’s. Maybe Caleb, or some new girl on the horizon, can help ease Emily’s pain? I hope so, because drunk Emily is a straight up mess. Even if she did have some of the best moments of the night…

Pretty Little Liars Need In Growing Need of a Bodyguard

Pretty Little Liars 1.14 “Careful What You Wish 4” ReviewAfter Spencer had her laptop swiped withe the incriminating video of Ian on it, I was a little upset at the girl’s carelessness. They should’ve copied that video somehow or have it backed up on a seperate disc. With that said, I could’ve sworn Spencer got the video through her email. Wouldn’t she be able to retrieve it from there again? Or did the culprit hack her email account as well?

Then there is the Ian ultimatum from tonight. I thought people knew about the kiss between the two of them, which was why Melissa called it off with him in te first place. I might got my wires crossed on that one, but Ian just went up several notches on the suspect list. Who threatens to “hurt” someone like that and not expect to end up on someone’s suspect list of shady behavoir? It’s only a matter of time, folks, before Ian incriminates himself in something. At this point, it doesn’t have to be Allison’s murder, just something extremely stupid.

Another thing I was wondering about was if the Liars were the girls who were chasing after A last week? There wasn’t an inkling that they just took a jog in the woods when the episode opened this week. Also, what about that photo? Who did the shadow belong to in it? Was it just me or did Spencer looked spooked about the photo? I’m sure Spencer is hiding something wicked, besides, she was the one who claimed Allison was missing from gate.

More mysteries, eight episodes to go. What do you think, folks? Name your suspect below.
