Predicting The Main Category Winners for the 2017 Emmy Awards

The Emmy’s are coming up and it’s getting down to time to select who we think will win. These awards are just as prestigious as any in that they show that an actor has done something unique and quite special that deserves appreciation. Those that win will be vindicated for their contributions while those that are nominated will at least have the pleasure of knowing that people stood up and took note. So without any further ado here are those that some tend to believe will be the Emmy winners of this year.

Outstanding Drama-The Handmaid’s Tale

People have been buzzing about this show ever since it was released and have praised it without measure for its stark look into the land of Gilead where women are little more than property and a totalitarian regime is firmly set into place.

Lead Actor in a Drama-Lieve Schreiber-Ray Donovan

Ray Donovan has become one of the favorite shows to watch due to its complexity and stark look into a family seeking to pull itself together.

Lead Actress in a Drama-Robin Wright-House of Cards

Claire Underwood has played the long game much as her husband did and has finally come out on top. Now it’s Frank’s turn to sweat.

Supporting Actress in a Drama-Millie Bobby Brown-Stranger Things

It’s hard to think of Eleven as a supporting actress but she’s been a favorite ever since showing up in Hawkins.

Supporting Actor in a Drama-Michael Kelly-House of Cards

As Doug Stamper there’s little he hasn’t done and few acts he hasn’t perpetrated. Kelly should get this award based simply on the fact that his character seems so frighteningly real.

Guest Actress in a Drama-Laverne Cox-Orange Is The New Black

Her character has done more than guest star on the show, and she’s been one of the more impressive individuals in the series largely because she plays a character that is true to life.

Guest Actor in a Drama-B.D. Wong-Mr. Robot

B.D. Wong is simply scary he’s so good. He’s almost like a chameleon in that he can shed a role in which he’s known so well to adopt another where he is completely different.

Outstanding Comedy-Master of None

Aziz Ansari hasn’t been on this kind a roll since he first entered the business, but he’s on his way as of now and deserves to be recognized for it.

Lead Actress in a Comedy-Pamela Adlon-Better Things

Playing a true to life character is not always easy but Adlon seems to manage it with ease.

Lead Actor in a Comedy-William H. Macy-Shameless

He’s nothing but talent no matter how despicable his character is.

Supporting Actress in a Comedy-Kate Mckinnon-Saturday Night Live

She’s funny in almost anything she plays so long as she’s supposed to be.

Supporting Actor in a Comedy-Ty Burrell-Modern Family

Phil is that kind of personality that you can’t help but like but you don’t know why.

Guest Actress in a Comedy-Wanda Sykes-Black-ish

Her attitude is the biggest reason she’s such a great addition to any show or film.

Guest Actor in a Comedy-Tom Hanks-Saturday Night Live

The man is a legend. That’s all the really needs to be said.

These are a just a few of the favored selections, but as you know they are always subject to change.
