Personally, I think everyone should know many things, including how to cook, clean, and how to take care of themselves physically, mentally, financially, the list goes on.

I agree with what you said. Some many people leave school and home unprepared for the real world. Like how to do taxes and a budget, how to clean, basic first aid, how to read contracts/application forms etc.

How to cook basic meals and make basic sauces.
It’s important to know how to cook at least 6 or 7 good meals. I see a lot of people that, after having someone cook for them their whole lives, find themselves in a position where they have to make their own dinner and can’t, so they just order out, If circumstances mean you have to do that for a long time it’s not going to be healthy.
