I’m pretty sure that this is the weirdest headline I will write all day. New York Mets flamethrower and Thor lookalike Noah Syndergaard will be appearing as an extra on his favorite show, Game of Thrones. There’s no word on whether or not he has any lines, but given it’s as an “extra” I have a feeling that we won’t be hearing much out of the Mets Ace’s mouth. Here’s the thing. Noah without a doubt already looks the part and it’ll be fun to see him on the show but how could the Mets even let this happen?
The whole “Winter is Coming” theme as well as you know, Dragons and fire and stuff? Wouldn’t that kind of put the pitcher at risk for some freak accident? My assumption is that Syndergaard did zero consulting with Mets brass because if it were me I’d have told him “yeah, you’re staying in a room with the door locked until Spring Training arrives. We’ll give you all the Game of Thrones DVD’s that you want but there’s just no way we’re letting you on that show.”
This should be interesting.
Winter is coming…to the Mets. Noah Syndergaard will be an extra in the upcoming season of his fave show Game of Thrones, per @KenDavidoff.
