Imagine not only having parents cool enough to costume out on Halloween during the day of their birth, but also having a hospital creative enough to produce handmade costumes for babies that are only a few hours or days old. While these costumes don’t scream “best Cosplay ever!” just the thought of who’s wearing makes your heart melt. Hopefully when these babies grow up they can say that they dressed up as their favorite superheroes before they even left the hospital.
Here’s a full description of who did the work and who took the photos from Fashionably Geek
The March of Dimes partnered with Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri to bring some Halloween fun to the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Nurses and March of Dimes volunteers handmade Halloween costumes for the over 30 premature babies being treated at the NICU.
As you’ll see, many of the costumes were superhero-themed, and three volunteer photographers (Emmalee Schaumburg with Schaumburg Photography, Sally Morrow with Sally Morrow Photography and Helen Ransom with Faces You Love Photography) were on hand to snap some photos of the adorable costumes.
