The fourth season of “Gotham” is gearing up, but the execs have been fairly stingy about sharing who is going to make an appearance this year. We’ve done a bit of digging around to find out as much as possible about the upcoming cast for season four. Fans want to know not only what they can expect, but also who they can look forward to seeing. Here is what we know so far.
Marina Benedict joins the cast
The first new cast member that we’ve confirmed is Marina Benedict. Some of you may know her from her role as A&W in “Prison Break.” She will join the cast of “Gotham” as a character named Cherry. She will be The Narrows fight club owner, and as such, she will wield a tremendous amount of power and influence. What we’ve learned about her is that there will be times when she’s a great help to Bruce Wayne, but at other times, she’ll be detriment to his cause. There is little doubt that Cherry will spice things up and make them more interesting for fans.
Benjamin Stockham
Stockham, famous for playing the part of Marcus in “About a Boy” will come on board the “Gotham” crew as a person who becomes friends with Bruce Wayne. The name of his character will be Alex Winthrop. He is the grandson of a curator for a museum. Will he turn out to be a true friend, or will he turn on Bruce? We’ll have to watch to find out because mum is the word on what we’re likely to see happen.
Crystal Reed
Another new face on the show will be Crystal Reed. She will play the part of Sofia Falcone, the daughter of Don Falcone. This intelligent girl will return to Gotham so she can assist in dealing with the issue of the Penguin. She was previously away tending the family business on the southern part of the country. Falcone will become a love interest of Jim Gordon. When we consider what happened to the other ladies in his life, it makes us wonder how long this character will last on the script. It would be nice to have something work out well for Jim. Nonetheless, we’re fairly certain that there will be ups and downs with Reed’s character. It’s usually the smart ones that end up getting in the most trouble.
So far, we’ve been able to identify three new cast members for the upcoming season 4 of “Gotham.” We’re sure that we’ll see more new and some familiar faces, just showing up for the season soon. The producers are not releasing a lot of information about who will be showing up in the fourth season, but we’ll take the three names that we have and be glad to know that we will be seeing a few new faces. Unless there is a press announcement made, we’ll just have to wait and see when the show makes its’ season four debut on September 21, 2017.
