You might not believe this if I told you but did you know that Animal House came out in 1978? We’re closing in on 40 years since the most popular college movie of all-time came out. It marked the turning of John Belushi TV star into John Belushi movie legend as well as launched the careers of people like Karen Allen, Tom Hulce, Mark Metcalf, Tim Matheson and Peter Riegert. People also seem to forget that the film was directed by John Landis and written by Harold Ramis.
It’ll go down as the single most popular fraternity movie of all time and to this day some of its clips are being used on jumbotrons in sports stadiums around the country. It was the first movie to depict fraternity life in a somewhat real way and one of the first movies college students at the time could relate to.
But any movie that’s nearly 40 years old is bound to have major changes since the time it was released. Some of the biggest changes came in the actors appearances. The folks at FHM have put together this short video doing a virtual “What do they look like now?” of some of the film’s biggest stars.
