The collective Marvel and Netflix worlds were up in arms yesterday when we got a first trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist, a new show that’s sure to turn some heads. Only a day later Marvel and Neflix wasted no time in releasing the show’s first clip, and it’s pretty awesome. In this clip we catch a little bit of Colleen Wing doing some serious damage in an iron cage. To be 100% candid this footage was actually shown at New York Comic Con, so this may mean the studios are keeping everything close to the vest.
However, with two consecutive days of coverage, you can be sure that Iron Fist’s marketing campaign is kicking into high gear. Posters and larger clips are without question next and we’re curious to see what Marvel and Netflix release next.
It’s nice to see Wing being portrayed as tough as Danny Rand, at least in this clip. While we can’t confirm it, we wouldn’t be surprised if these two get involved romantically. If there’s one thing we can be sure if, this clip points to Wing being a very important character in Marvel.
