There are many people who have been watching “Long Island Medium,” an immensely popular television show on TLC, for many years. The truth is, there is a lot of interest in individuals like Theresa Caputo, who is the focus of the show. She claims to be a psychic medium and says that she is able to communicate with loved ones that have crossed over. Perhaps the reason the show has gathered such a following over its previous 10 seasons is because people have a strong desire to learn more about this type of thing.
After all, who hasn’t lost someone close to them at one point or another in their lives? Everyone would like to have some type of reassurance that when such a thing happens, it isn’t really the end. That is one reason why shows like Caputo’s are so popular. The very idea of that possibility being a reality is enough to keep people tuning in. In addition, she delivers her readings with a healthy dose of passion and laughter. She seems to have just the right mix of knowing what to say and how to deliver it to get her point across without allowing things to become too heavy for the person she is reading at any given time.
With the show starting its 11th season on November 6th, a lot of fans are wondering what to expect for the upcoming season. It has become somewhat customary that Theresa reads some famous faces from time to time and this season is no different. This time around, expect to see people like Kelsey Grammer, who is famous for shows like “Cheers” and “Frasier,” along with Barbara Corcoran, who is well known for her work on “Shark Tank.” Of course, there will be other famous faces that Theresa will be reading as well. Part of the fun is not knowing every single individual that will appear on the show from one week to the next.
Even though she is reading some famous individuals, she is still doing what she has always done and that is to hold true to the core of who she is. That means that she will be reading plenty of individuals that have regular day jobs and aren’t famous in any capacity, yet are hurting and need to have some closure. She will undoubtedly also be convincing at least a few individuals that didn’t believe in psychic mediums before that there really is something to all of this.
In addition to all of these things, she will be celebrating her 50th birthday. After all, a 50th birthday is a big deal, and it is one that should be celebrated. It will be interesting to see how Theresa deals with it with all of her anxiety issues, as many people don’t really handle their 50th birthday all that well to begin with.
One thing is certain, the season certainly won’t be boring. “Long Island Medium” is never boring. Instead, it is a show that is capable of convincing some people that there really is more to life than what people can routinely see and hear. At the very least, it provides some food for thought and it is something that is worth thinking about.
