Scorpion Sneak Peek: Little Girl Waits For New Heart, But Where Has the Blood Gone?

Scorpion

Time is ticking away, in a manner of speaking, for a little girl in dire need of a heart transplant as well as for Team Scorpion as the latter tries to figure out who’s responsible for hacking into and tainting L.A’s blood supply with a deadly virus that makes the healthy blood unusable for blood transfusions on tomorrow’s episode of Scorpion. I’m hoping that it’s not Dracula. “Bleh, bleh! I vant to suck your blood!” Ahem, sorry, couldn’t resist. Then again, Dracula wouldn’t hack into a blood bank and then taint the blood, now would he?

On a more serious note, I don’t understand why someone would hack into a blood bank (if that’s even possible) for the sole purpose of satisfying their twisted minds. An innocent life is at stake, have they no morals to speak of? Oh wait, this is a hacker/criminal we’re talking about here, of course there’re no morals!

In this sneak peek clip below, Agent Gallo comes in with a doctor who informed the team that the blood stored at the blood bank has been mixed with the blood that’s used to research certain diseases. Great, another bio-weapon designed to destroy humanity. If Lucifer was here, he would grin from ear to ear like the Cheshire Cat. Oh, I can see it now.

The next episode of Scorpion will have Paige going on a date of her own which irks me a little bit because the team liaison clearly has deep feelings for Walter, but she chose not to act on those feelings so as to not taint their working relationship. Oh Paige, if Toby and Happy can make it work, why can’t you and Walter do the same? Take baby steps if you must, test the waters before you dive in headfirst. If it works out, great! If it doesn’t, you always have the option of going back to being friends/colleagues. The latter might be hard to do post-relationship (I haven’t experienced this myself, I watch a lot of TV), though I’m sure that something can be worked out if Waige ever came to that. Fingers crossed it doesn’t.
